With the impending arrival of the baby and Bill's office moving to a less convenient location we decided it was time to purchase a second car. We had done our research, and with safety being a major factor, had pretty much decided on another Subaru. What we hadn't counted on is getting news from my mechanic that suggested that my current car may not have as long of a life as we had hoped it would. Now we were looking to do a trade-in instead and will have to go through the whole buying process again not too far in the future. Such is life, I suppose. So, this past week has been full of test driving, shopping around, negotiating, bank checks, credit checks, insurance jargon, contract signing and all the other stuff that goes with buying a car.
Thankfully, all we have left to do now is go and pick it up on Saturday. It's a pretty sweet ride if I do say so myself and we love the AWD, traction control, air bags, and while we wouldn't have gotten them if they were an option we're excited about the butt warmers (heated seats) that come standard on it. I'm such a tease, I guess I should tell you precisely what kind of car it is, eh? Ok, fine. It's a Subaru Outback Sport, and we got it in Black (of course!).
