Natural Childbirth class - round 1

We attended the first of a 2 part class on Natural Childbirth last Sunday and will attend round 2 this coming Sunday. Overall, we've liked the class so far. Even with all of my reading I still didn't know simple things such as, oh, when to actually go to the hospital. So, at the very least we have a better grasp on that and won't be rushing around at the sign of my first contraction. Turns out that TV and movies don't always accurately portray what often happens in real life. Who would have thunk it?

The only downside to the class has been having to go through it will a fellow who's 'that guy.' John, seriously, you don't have a uterus, and you will never be able to even faintly imagine what it might be like to experience a contraction. I'm not sure whether your intention is to suck up to your wife with your 'sensitivity' or if you just like to hear your self talk. Either way, you annoy me, so please refrain from speaking next class. Thank you.
